Nitecore TM9K
Skemer' review of the TM9K
Most of what Nitecore introduces to the market is nothing short of very impressive or even astonishing. Although the TM9K is aimed at Tactical, Close-Range work and Search And Rescue, it's nothing short of astonishing in the Camping/Hunting/Overlanding Game. It's a 1,900 Lumens, Close-range (advertised as 268m, but in reality, 140-160m of good light) flashlight. It will deliver its 1,900 lumens flood light for over 3hrs, but then in-between boosting it to 9,500 lumens for 10 seconds is mind-blowing! We all know that high lumens = heat and hence why the ATR (advanced temperature regulation) kicks in, but for that 10 seconds, spotting an animal, sighting a gorge, spotting potential lions around your campsite is absolutely done to the most impressive lengths. As with most other Notecore Flashlights, the TM9K is IP68 rated, which gives you confidence that it won't let you down, even if you didn't return the favour :-)
It has a built-in 5000mAh 21700 Li-ion battery and hence the reason why it's capable of delivering the very impressive run-times it does. Is the TM 9K on out Top3 EDC list, 100% yes!
